Producing an ad video
Duration, aspect ratio, resolution, audio and script — and why video cost is not flat.

Size and duration
- Video size
- Landscape, portrait or square. Chosen for where it will run.
- Resolution
- Cost rises with it. For a feed ad the highest resolution is usually unnecessary.
- Duration
- In seconds. There is an upper bound and the screen states it; the plan is built around that length.
Audio
Turning audio on produces ambience and music, and lengthens production. If you write a script, those are the lines the presenter says; leave it empty and it is written from the brief. Tone (warm, friendly, authoritative, calm, casual, energetic) and language are chosen separately.
Showing the product
In a product video you give the product either by uploading a photo or by picking it from your store. The brand, category and subcategory fields help the analysis that builds the scene — “Nestle · Food · Chocolate Bar”, for instance.
The product photo does not only set the first frame; it is used to carry the product’s identity through the video. A sharp photo of a single product on a plain background therefore gives noticeably better results.
Video templates
Template mode offers ready-made recipes, each carrying a default duration, the sizes it supports and an output type. The card also says whether that template requires a product photo.
While it runs, the canvas names the step you are on: reading the brief, drafting the storyboard, producing frames, processing motion, placing audio, stitching frames, encoding the video.
