Connecting an ad account

Connecting from a platform card, choosing which ad accounts sync, and the three states of a card.

  1. Step 1/4

    Open the Connections screen

In the left menu, under the Account group. Your connected accounts are at the top of the page and the cards for platforms you have not connected yet are below.

  2. Step 2/4

Press Connect on the platform card

You are taken to that platform’s own login and consent screen. You can see there exactly what Mentorivo will read; your password never reaches us.

  3. Step 3/4

    Choose the ad accounts

When you come back the connection is created and your ad accounts on that platform are listed. You tick which ones should sync — and can change it later from “Manage accounts” in the card menu.

  4. Step 4/4

    Wait for the first sync

Data starts arriving for each account you picked. When Campaigns and Overview begin to fill, the job is done.

Platforms that connect today

  • Meta — Facebook and Instagram ads
  • Google Ads
  • TikTok Ads
  • LinkedIn Ads
  • X Ads

For each platform the card says one of three things, and the only source of truth is that screen rather than this article:

Not connected yet
Ready to connect. The card carries a Connect button.
Waiting for configuration
The connector exists but the app keys have not been entered in this installation. Not your job — an administrator’s.
Soon
The card is visible but the connector has not been written yet. We would rather show you what is queued than hide the card.

Columns in the account table

Account
The name of the ad account on the platform.
Platform ID
The account’s identifier on the platform — the number support asks for.
Currency
The account’s own currency. Accounts in different currencies are never summed; tables say “mixed currency” instead.
Time zone
Where the account cuts the day. It decides which day daily metrics land on.
Last sync
When data was last pulled for this account.
Sync
On or off. A disabled account stops receiving new data; existing history is not deleted.

How many ad accounts you can connect at once depends on your plan; the current number is on the usage card of the Billing screen. When you reach the limit, turning off sync for an account you no longer watch frees a slot.
